Senior Adviser, Research and Advocacy

Jarrod is a social researcher with experience in social policy and criminal justice policy and has worked extensively within the Victorian Aboriginal community.

Prior to joining CIJ, Jarrod worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for the Analysis of Social Exclusion at the London School of Economics and co-authored papers on health and social care. Jarrod previously served as the Executive Officer of the Southern Metropolitan Regional Aboriginal Justice Advisory Committee and worked as a Policy Officer within the Department of Premier and Cabinet. He also has experience working in frontline roles at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service and has served as a board member of Aboriginal organisations.

Jarrod holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Monash University and a Masters of Social Policy (Research) from the London School of Economics.
