Yvette Clarke
Manager, Policy and ReformYvette is an evaluation, strategic projects, and community engagement specialist with broad experience across the justice sector, having worked across Aboriginal justice, crime prevention, early intervention, and service delivery.
Yvette has worked extensively within government justice agencies, including for the Koori Justice and the Policy, Reform and Programs units in the Victorian Department of Justice and Community Safety, and the Neighbourhood Justice Centre. Yvette has also worked in the community and not-for-profit sector including for cohealth, the Brotherhood of St Laurence, World Vision Australia, and Collaboration for Impact.
Throughout her career Yvette has maintained a commitment to social justice and focus on empowering local communities to lead responses to complex challenges. This has included ensuring access to justice services; addressing the over-representation of Aboriginal people in the justice system; community strengthening to reduce offending risk factors, and resilience and recovery from climate related emergencies and disasters.
Yvette has a Masters of Evaluation from University of Melbourne and a Masters of Applied Social Research from Deakin University.
