Yvette Clarke
Manager, Policy and ReformYvette is a policy, research/evaluation, community engagement and strategic projects specialist with over 15 years’ experience across access to justice, family violence, Aboriginal justice, crime prevention, early intervention, and service delivery.
Yvette has worked across and within both public and community sector organisations, partnering with communities, government and non-government stakeholders. She has particular experience undertaking research and evaluation in place-based, community- led and self-determination contexts where collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including community members and people with lived experience, is critical.
Throughout her career, Yvette has focused on building evidence and support for community-led initiatives that collaborate with, and empower, local communities to respond to complex challenges. This has included access to justice services; addressing the over-representation of Aboriginal people in the justice system; strengthening communities to reduce risk factors for offending; and supporting resilience and recovery from climate-related emergencies and disasters.
Yvette has a Masters of Evaluation from University of Melbourne and a Masters of Applied Social Research from Deakin University.
