James is an experienced administrator and systems coordinator, with a diverse background spanning roles from The Royal Melbourne Hospital to the University of Melbourne, before bringing his skills to RMIT University.
At the Centre for Innovative Justice, James provides general operations and project support with a focus on designing and implementing systems that efficiently manage projects and data. His proficiency with Airtable and other IT solutions allows him to adapt and leverage new software technologies, creating streamlined workflows that enhance team productivity.
Over 10 years at the University of Melbourne, he held positions including as Executive Officer for the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Australia (IPRIA) and Gifts in Wills Officer for the Advancement Office. In these capacities, James excelled in stakeholder engagement, the development of administrative systems, and the management of high-value estate gifts.
James’s experience in philanthropy has equipped him with a strong understanding of fundraising and grant-seeking strategies, along with relationship management.
