Katherine (Kat) Ogilvie is a social worker who works across the Centre for Innovative Justice and partner agency the Law and Advocacy Centre for Women.

Kat has been implementing and overseeing the multidisciplinary practice since it was launched in mid-2016, providing social work support to clients of the legal centre and social work supervision to RMIT students on placement.

Kat has a wide range of experiences in frontline service delivery, program management, policy development and program design positions. Kat has worked across support sectors in Queensland and Victoria including mental health, disability, asylum seeker, youth homelessness, community development and tenancy/housing.

Kat has worked for government departments, small community agencies and larger non-government organisations and has a long-held passion for social justice and smarter ways of improving complex systems for people who need support at particular times in their lives.
