How did you get here? with Leah Deery

Leah has previously worked as a commercial litigation lawyer in private practice and undertaken volunteer legal work with several community legal centres, including assisting asylum seeker clients with protection claims. She has also worked in research and policy in the Victorian Government’s multicultural affairs portfolio, and as an investigator with an independent government body. Since graduating from her law degree in 2011, Leah has had a varied career with wide ranging experience.
