Busting myths about the criminal justice system

This resource provides information to address some common myths about the criminal justice system in Australia generally, and more specifically in the Victorian context.

The CIJ is delighted to release its new Community Attitudes to Crime resource, an educational pack that seeks to inform the community about the criminal justice system. It addresses common myths associated with criminal justice, providing information about evidence-based alternatives to “tough on crime” responses in ways that can improve understanding in the general community, as well as in the context of schools and other educational environments. We thank the practitioners participating in other CIJ projects who contributed to the development of this resource via an online survey.

You can have a look at the resource here.
