Spring/Summer 2019 Clinical Legal Education Opportunities – applications now open!
Interested in developing your practical legal skills while making a contribution to the community AND getting course credit? Applications for Spring/Summer 2019 Clinical Legal Education LAW2434 (CLE), a JD elective course, are now open.
CLE introduces students to the practice of law and develops students’ practical legal skills and ethics. Under the supervision of teaching staff and staff at placement organisations, students are provided with the opportunity to deliver pro bono legal services to real clients in a range of settings. Placements are available at the Mental Health Legal Centre, the Law and Advocacy Centre for Women, the Young Workers Centre and Youthlaw.
