Inquiry into Restitution and Compensation Orders
The CIJ has provided a submission to the Sentencing Advisory Council’s (SAC) inquiry into Restitution and Compensation Orders.
SAC’s report provides recommendations to the Victorian Government regarding restitution and compensation orders for victims against offenders. CIJ’s submission focuses on how restorative justice may fit into this system of restitution and compensation in providing resolution for victims.
